Hot Zone

After reading Hot Zone by Richard Preston, I found it to be a very interesting book. It is a very good read. Some parts were a little gory. For example, when I got to the part when the guy was on the plane I thought that I am going to throw up. Richard Preston shoudn't make that part of the book so detailed. We really don't need to know that, but for the most part the book itself was very good. Now in class, we are going to read Into the Wild. Probably this book will turn out not to be so gory, but rather adventurous (not sure if I spelled that right). Right now I am reading this book from my library. I also found another book in the library by Peter Abrahams that I still haven't read yet. Peter Abrahams rocks. Try reading The Tutor by this guy. It is really exciting. There is so many good books. I think that at some point I should just do at least one blog and post in it the list of the "sexy"that I really felt in love with.

Ok, so before I go to school because I am still in my jammies lol, I just wanted to add a few words. I know that Ihaven't been to my blog recently. The answer to that is that I have been very busy. I was always thinking og changing this blog a little. I have to look for another cool template because this was one for me got a little boring. I also made myself promise to write in my blog a little more. I have a midterm coming up November 6th. I am thinking about it everyday. I am like shaking under my skin. The midterm is based on the anthropology of Latin America and the Caribbean and my professor wants to do it on nine Chapters. Yes, I found it to be scary and the chapters are not like 2 pages long. There is so many freakin' details. If I pass this midterm I will feel like I just have gone to heaven. Really, when you have something like that coming up you just have all these thoughts going around your brain. I already passed my Linguistics Course midterm, which was not that hard because it was all grammar and rules stuff but thing baby that's coming. Thank god it was postponed for another week. Omg. Also, my music instructor ( have no idea if he is a professor or doctor, whatever) announced to our class to be prepared for a big test on all the chapters and guess what we just did 10 of them. I hate this class. I mean I don't pla any instrument so for me it is you know like confusing. Ok then gotta go because I want to leave the house early even if my classes start in the afternoon because of the New Recreational Center , MSU doesn't have that much parking space available anymore. They just took away 400 parking spots. That's what I read in Montlclarion 2 weeks ago. Ok ciao! Be back soon! Enjoy reading about my stressing and miserable life ...

Good point about "falling in love" with some books, Karolina. I know that happens to me -- and then those books and the stories in them become a part of me, a part of my life. Into the Wild is one of those books for me -- it really got under my skin and made me wonder, and then come to understand how someone could walk away from their life to live one completely different.
