Directors of the CDC
There are two victims, who are currently sick. One is Alice, who is a grandmother from Newark. The second victim is Charles, who is a regular commuter on the same NJ Transit train. Alice, the grandmother, at first starts ti feel exhausted. It takes only 24 hours for her to feel disoriented. Her retinas appeared to be red. She also has nosebleeds and a persistent cough that never stops. At the hospital, she is diagnosed with an unidentified viral infection, impervious to antibiotics; Charles, the second victim, doesn’t just become sick suddenly like Alice did. He has been sick for more than a week. He has too much work on his hands, so he couldn’t just leave and go to the hospital. He starts to bleed from his nose as well as his mouth. The doctors at the hospital have the difficulty of stopping his blood. There just this huge, red puddle of it on the floor.
What is interesting is that Alice’s daughter didn’t get exposed, but only Charles’s wife. She has begun coughing as soon as her husband is brought up to the hospital where she is employed.
We are probably looking at the Ebola. The morality percentages with this virus are very high. It is very contagious.
I think to prevent others from being exposed the best thing to do it would be to put them up in a quarantine. All people in the group would be quarantined, would be the ones who were recently exposed, so then just to keep them away from others so there wouldn’t be more sick people than there already are. I think that’s the best way to go about it.
I would take time with the vaccine. I mean just giving vaccine to the people would be very risky. In this case I wouldn’t want to risk millions of lives. I am definitely just not going to leave people with the virus. There always has to be done something.
What should be done about the people who have been exposed but not yet shown symptoms I think that one of the best ways to go about is first wait if they are not going to have any symptoms at all in like a few days there is a great possibility that they didn’t catch that so they would probably have to just go on living.
The best course of action is a quarantine for all these people who were exposed and are showing with symptoms. I think that’s the best way to go about it, so that’s why the plan should be followed. I mean if you are just going to live these people just like that, everybody will sooner or later die and you know what it’s going to be your fault because you just didn’t do nothing about it, so it’s better to do something than having regrets later on for the rest of your life.
It is just ridiculous to just wipe out an entire human population just because it has been exposed!
